When Will the Results be Released?
NECTA Will officially announce the ACSEE (Form Six) results for 2025/2026 in early July 2025, as expected. Historically, results drop in early‑to‑mid July, around the 1st or 2nd week
Easy Guide: How to Check Your Form Six Results (All altenatives)
1. Online via NECTA Website
- Visit www.necta.go.tz and click the “Results” tab
- Choose the exam type: “ACSEE 2025” (Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination)
- Use the search tool to select your exam centre/school
- Check Results list by your index/candidate number (e.g.,
S1234/0001
) - Take a close look at Your results—grades per subject and overall division
- Download or screenshot the results for safekeeping.

2. SMS Check
- Open your SMS app.

on your mobile phone - Navigate: select 8 – ELIMU, then 2 – NECTA, followed by 1 – MATOKEO, then choose Exam Type = ACSEE
- Enter your index number and exam year (2025), follow prompts to receive your results.
- A small service fee applies.
4. Through Your School
- Most schools post printed results on noticeboards or distribute them directly once released
- If you’re offline or unable to check online, visit your school office to view or request a copy.
Tips & Troubleshooting
- Heavy traffic? The website may be slow on release day. Check early morning or late evening, or use SMS/USSD instead
- Not finding your number? Double-check your index format and year. If it’s still missing, contact NECTA or your school—it may be pending or withheld
Understanding Your Grades
NECTA uses letter grades for each subject:
